MEET OUR OHANA

ANDREA CARVALHO DIAS

My dream started when I was 15 years old. All that I wanted was to become a professional bodyboarder, travel around the World, and move to Hawaii. During that time, bodyboarding was popular in Brazil, and my father gave me a Morey Boogie Match 7-7 for Christmas. After that Christmas, my journey inside the world of sport began. I moved to Florianopolis, in south Brazil, where I competed as an amateur, and later, I became professional. I made many friends. I met wonderful professionals involved in sports who believed in my dream and helped me to train hard to achieve my goals.

My first trip to Hawaii was during the 1999-2000 winter when I was still an amateur. I attended some competitions in the World Tour for a few years, and in 2002, I fell in love with sport psychology. In 2005, I moved to Hawaii. From 2008 to 2017, my biggest dream came true. I traveled around the globe to compete in the Bodyboarding World Tour, and it was a memorable journey, a priceless experience that shaped the person I am today. Right now, I am setting new goals for my career as a sport psychophysiologist, and in the same way, I had people to help me train to achieve my athletic goals, I want to help you to achieve yours.

So,

β€œWhat is holding you back? Set your goals, and go for it! The world is waiting for you!”
